Dr. Emily Bell

Dr. Emily Bell is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. During her studies at CCNM, she was elected Student Governor for two terms, sitting on the Board of Governors as the student representative for the college. She has worked as an Intern at several clinics, including the CCNM Integrative Cancer Clinic, where she provided adjunctive care to patients through all steps of their cancer journey. Emily believes in an integrative approach to healthcare, where prevention whenever possible is key.

When studying Psychology at Acadia University, it became very evident that mental health and emotions have a meaningful impact on our physical health. Emily quickly realized that Naturopathic Medicine was the career for her, as this philosophy truly treats the body as a

whole. Emily also believes in the Naturopathic Oath, which encourages the use of effective natural remedies that are also good for the health of the planet.

In your first visit with Emily, she will go over your intake forms with you and ask questions about your health free of judgment. It may seem like some questions are unrelated to your main concern(s), but getting a full picture of your health history is important. With your consent, Emily will perform physical exams. She will also order blood work or some other labs if necessary. In your second visit, Emily will spend time explaining the results of your blood work and intake forms, and provide a protocol so you can start to achieve your health goals. Follow-ups will be booked to provide an opportunity to check in with Emily, take note of improvements, and provide updates to the protocols if necessary.

Emily teaches patients how to take their health into their own hands. She advocates for you and gives you the confidence to advocate for yourself. Emily will work with your other healthcare providers to ensure that you are getting the best care. We make choices every day that affect our health, and Emily will provide support and education to help you make informed decisions every day.

Emily is licensed through and in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
